I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time."

There Just Isn't Much Time.. Left!
Aren't you glad that God isn't like that. He is like men and He never fails to do
what He is supposed to do. Unfortunately, sometimes we fail to do what God
wants us to do. It even happens to us Christians. We know that the Lord told us to
go out and share the gospel with the lost but we run of time. We are so busy that
we fail to tell people the good news. We can't do that!
As believers, we can't help but think that time is running out on this old world. We
must get busy before it is too late. Even you don't believe that time is running on
the world__ you must believe that time is running out for people. Our life spans are
short and our lives are very fragile. Your friends, your family, your co-workers may
not see tomorrow. So we must share the truth with them. We must tell them that
there is a better way to live and a way to know that we can live forever with God.
