The e-mail began, "I will never go to Church again.." My friend in a distant city had a bad experience in their local Church. I just couldn't get through to them so I decided to share my own bad experience.

You see, one day I was in a hurry and had to stop and buy some milk on the way home. I went into a Value Market on Broadway in Rancho Palos Verde. I went up to the check stand and there was one checker on duty. There was already a line and the people were grumping and complaining. The checker was getting upset and started calling for the manager on the intercom.

I could see inside the open door of the manager's office from where I stood. The manager was reading some papers and drinking coffee. He looked up and through a one way glass saw all the people waiting. They were fidgety and upset, but the manager just sat there. I waited about five minutes and the line had moved about two people. People started griping out loud. The poor clerk was calling for help and the manager and the other store employees were just ignoring her. I finally left. I was very angry. This grocery store was run by idiots and I decided right there I was never going to another grocery store. It has been hard.. on me.. the family.. we are all getting weaker.. but I will show them!!

There Are A Lot Of Good Churches.

Dear friend.. if one church doesn't work for you.. find another.. don't let one bad experience separate you from the Giver of Life. The church that hurt you is not the only Church in the world. There are churches to fit every personality and individual. I am sure that is why there are so many churches. Now quit worrying about your last experience and go out and find a Church that will meet your needs. If that one isn't all that you want in a church.. keep looking. You will find a Church that will make you feel like family.. loved and accepted. I know you will.. because there are thousands of wonderful Churches filled with wonderful, loving people all around us. God has Church family just for you.
