To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas before a crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk failure.
But risks must be taken.
Because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
If you risk nothing and do nothing, you dull your spirit.
You may avoid suffering and sorrow, But you cannot learn, feel, change,
grow, love, and live.
Chained by your attitude, you are a slave.
You have forfeited your freedom.
Only if you risk are you free.

Are You Willing To Risk All?
Sometimes, in faith, we must take risks. We must step out of the safety of the
boat and begin to walk on the water toward the place that Jesus has called us.
We, people of faith, are by our very nature "risk-takers." We are people who
listen to the Lord and are following Him when others look at us and wonder if
God is real.
Sometimes, God asks us to look beyond the ordinary things of life and do
great things for Him. It seems beyond our ability but know this that God does
not call you to do anything that you can't do. God is there to help you and He
will provide whatever is necessary to accomplish His plan.
God is calling you to a great adventure in faith. You see, the Lord has a plan
for your life. He is calling you to be extra-ordinary in an ordinary world.
Will you step out and become a person who make a difference in this world?
Will you become a person, who through faith and prayer, can shape the world
to come? If so, turn to the Lord now and offer Him your life and allow the
Lord to use you to change the world.
